Sunday saw the deadly stabbing of a lady in Canoga Park, and police are still seeking for the suspect who escaped the scene.
After a woman was discovered dead from stab wounds early on Sunday in Canoga Park, authorities launched an investigation.
It happened in the vicinity of Canoga Avenue and Bassett Street at around 5:36 in the morning.
Police are searching for the culprit, a guy who fled the scene in a white minivan, after a lady was fatally stabbed on Sunday in Canoga Park, according to the authorities.
According to the LAPD’s Media Relations Section, the two were involved in some sort of altercation before the stabbing.
Officers were called at 5:26 a.m. to the intersection of Bassett Street and Canoga Avenue, where they found the woman already dead from a chest stab wound.

Authorities claim that a fight between the man and the woman led to the stabbing.
After being stabbed, the victim fled before falling to the ground.
Police claimed there was no evidence of a carjacking in the tragedy.

Police claim that when they arrived, they discovered the victim, a lady in her 40s who they assume to be homeless, had been stabbed in the chest.
According to an investigation, the victim and the male suspect fought prior to the stabbing. Following the stabbing, the victim fled and later passed out, according to the authorities.
