YOUTUBER Fousey, who reshaped his body and overcame a broken nose, enters the boxing ring as a new man. On Saturday, the American, whose true name is Yousef Saleh Erakat, will compete against Deji online.

They co-headline the DAZN pay-per-view event that features two fights by Deji’s well-known older brother KSI.

With a combined following of more than 50 million, Deji and KSI are two of the most recognisable figures on YouTube in the United Kingdom.

Although he was a prankster pioneer on the social networking app, Fousey is a celebrity in his own right with approximately 11 million members to his name.

He fought for the first time in 2019 against fellow content producer Slim Albaher, losing soundly in the fourth round in a six-round bout.

Due to the severe injuries he experienced during the demonstration fight, Fousey was left looking fatigued and ended up with a fractured nose.

Although he had to have surgery due to the severity of the injury, boxing is still his passion.

Fousey thinks he can stop Deji dead in his tracks. “I think Deji’s really skilled, and very good in this sport, despite the setbacks he’s received,” he said in his prediction.

“I believe he will emerge and release his hands, and that is okay.That’s okay; everyone has a strategy for releasing their grip. But I doubt that Deji has ever been affected in the manner that I have.

“I think that strategy is going to go out the window as soon as he steps into it and feels what I bring to the table,” she said.

To get himself fighting fit, Fousey had to undergo a significant physique makeover. He posted a video of his eight-month transition, which left him with bulky abs and pecks, on social media.
