Authorities said that a pilot was airlifted to a hospital following a helicopter crash near Mount Baldy on Sunday.
According to a dispatcher for the Los Angeles County Fire Department, it was not immediately apparent what the condition of the pilot, the only person inside the helicopter, was.
According to the department, firefighters and paramedics were dispatched to Mount Baldy and Glendora Ridge roads at 8:03 a.m.
It was unclear where the pilot had departed from or where the plane was going at the time.
