Rhea Chakraborty participated in MTV India’s TVS Scooty Teen Diva in 2009 and ended up being the first runner up, which was the fillip for her career.

Rhea Chakraborty then tried her luck with video jockeying (VJ). She auditioned at MTV to be a VJ and was chosen.

She went on to host several MTV shows including Pepsi MTV Wassup, TicTac College Beat and MTV Gone in 60 Seconds. 

Rhea Chakraborty made her acting debut with Telugu film ‘Tuneega Tuneega’ in 2012.
