
Two males were detained by Seattle police on Tuesday in connection with separate kidnapping attempts, according to the authorities.
According to a blotter entry from the Seattle Police Department, a man allegedly tried to push a 10-year-old child he didn’t know into a car at 11 a.m. in the 6500 block of 45th Avenue Northeast in the View Ridge area.
Police said that after a witness stepped in, the man fled, leaving the youngster alone. He was detained and brought into the King County Jail after police discovered his automobile near Fremont.
Police are currently looking into what happened.

A second, separate incident happened at 12:49 p.m. when a 45-year-old man tried to seize a youngster on a downtown street. Numerous witnesses in the 200 block of Madison Street dialled 911 to report seeing a man seizing a youngster. Officers made contact with the boy and his grandmother, who described how they were moving south on 2nd Avenue when a man approached from behind and lifted the 7-year-old boy off his feet. The grandma grabbed the boy and pulled him away as the man attempted to flee with the boy, and a bystander assisted in fighting the man off.

A 7-year-old kid was lifted off his feet by a 45-year-old man who grabbed him shortly before 1 p.m. on Second Avenue as the youngster walked with his grandmother, according to the police.
The boy’s grandmother protected him as a bystander assisted in repelling the attacker. Police located the culprit, who fled after a witness intervened. The man was captured by police in Fremont.

In the second incident, police said that at 12:49 pm in downtown, a 45-year-old man tried to seize a 7-year-old youngster.
A man was allegedly grabbing a child in the 200 block of Madison Street, according to many 911 callers who reported the incident to dispatchers.
When the toddler and his grandmother were being questioned by police, they described how they had been strolling down Second Avenue when a man approached from behind, grabbed the boy, and carried him off his feet.
The grandmother informed police that she grabbed the man and pulled him away while a bystander assisted in fighting the man off when he attempted to flee with the youngster.
The individual was apprehended after fleeing and being discovered several blocks away. He appeared to be in difficulty, according to the police. The man was lodged in the King County Detention Center.
