
A California woman was fatally stabbed outside of her home, and police are looking into the incident.
According to reports, a woman from San Carlos, California, was beheaded outside of her home, and a man who is thought to be her ex-boyfriend has been detained.
On Thursday, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office released a news release announcing that a “adult male” had been arrested for the murder of a woman.

at about 11:50 a.m. According to a press release from the police, witnesses “flagged down” authorities about “an assault in progress” near Magnolia and Laurel at local time.

Officers arrived on the site right away and discovered a dead woman. The announcement stated, “Shortly thereafter, the suspect returned to the location and was apprehended for her slaying.”

Deputies say they think it was “an isolated event” and that “there is no outstanding threat to the community” because the victim and suspect were acquainted. The victim’s identify was kept secret by the authorities.
NBC Bay Area was informed by insiders that the victim had been slashed in the head. Lt. Eamonn Allen, who was present for the news briefing, confirmed that the deadly stabbing happened outside the victim’s house. At the time, her two kids were inside, according to ABC 7 in San Francisco.
According to ABC 7, the woman and the suspect, Jose Solano Landaeta of Hayward, were dating when she was granted a temporary restraining order against him earlier this year. It’s unclear if Landaeta has retained legal counsel to offer comment.
According to sources, the victim was 25 years old. A request for comment from PEOPLE was not immediately answered by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Department.

The crime scene is still active, and the neighbourhood is in disbelief. Many people are just now getting home from work and finding out about the young mother who was beheaded in the middle of the street throughout the day.
The victim’s name is being kept private until the family has been notified.

The two allegedly had a long-term relationship, but according to law enforcement sources, the victim obtained a temporary restraining order against the suspect, Jose Solano Landaeta, a resident of Hayward, in April.

Allen stated at a press conference that “they were there in a matter of minutes and located a clearly deceased girl in the street in that vicinity.” “The male suspect returned to the area shortly after they started working there, and sheriff’s deputies immediately apprehended him. He was later taken into custody for murder. We can confirm that the crime was committed with a stabbing weapon. The use of that weapon is still legal.
That weapon is still being sought after. The suspect reportedly experienced a minor medical problem.
The home where the woman was killed reportedly had a history of domestic violence, according to sources.
