
Authorities were looking for a suspect Sunday in connection with the deadly stabbing of a journalist Jeff German in Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, investigative journalist Jeff German was discovered dead and stabbed outside of his home early on Saturday.

According to The Review-Journal, when officers arrived at a 911 call at 10:30 on Saturday morning, they discovered German, 69, dead and suffering from stab wounds outside his home. German was involved in an altercation, according to the police, and the stabbing appeared to be an isolated event.
According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, it is believed that the stabbing was an isolated occurrence and that there is no danger to the public.
According to them, officers arrived on the site around 10:30 AM on Saturday after receiving a 911 call.

Police said it appears the stabbing was the result of an incident between the 69-year-old German and another person.
German spent more than 20 years as a columnist and reporter for the Las Vegas Sun, where he covered government, labour, politics, courts, and organised crime. He then moved to the Review-Journal in 2010.
The executive editor of the newspaper, Glenn Cook, released a statement saying, “The Review-Journal family is devastated to lose Jeff. “He represented the pinnacle of the journalistic industry. Without his many years of illuminating shadowy areas with brilliant light, it’s difficult to image what Las Vegas would look like today.
The Review Journal claims that German covered everything from political issues and the deadly shooting on October 1 to organised crime and corrupt government officials.
Who is Jeff German?.
He was well-known for his coverage of political scandals, government misdeeds, and the 2017 mass shooting at a music festival that left 60 people dead and more than 400 injured.
According to the Review-Journal, German was the author of the true-crime book Murder in Sin City: The Death of a Las Vegas Casino Boss, which was published in 2001 and tells the tale of Ted Binion, the heir to the Horseshoe Club fortune, who died. German holds a master’s degree from Marquette University.
