
Los Angeles police requested assistance from the public in locating the shooter who killed a 39-year-old man on a Pacoima sidewalk on Sunday.
Around one in the morning, Pacoima resident Daniel Garcia was fatally shot on a sidewalk in the 10300 block of Rincon Avenue.c According to the LAPD, the responding officers saw Garcia unresponsive on the sidewalk and started performing CPR. He had already been pronounced dead when the paramedics arrived.
Motive behind man shot on the Pacoima sidewalk was unknown
There was no information on a possible suspect’s description or motive for the shooting.

Investigators report on Pacoima sidewalk man shot
Around one in the morning, gunfire was heard in the 10300 block of Rincon Avenue, according to investigators, while Pacoima resident Daniel Garcia, 39, was walking.
According to a news statement from the Los Angeles Police Department, when officers arrived in response to a radio call reporting the shootings, they saw Garcia lying on the pavement.
Garcia received chest compressions from the officers until the paramedics came, but he was declared dead at the site. There are no suspects known to the authorities.
