Following a fatal collision this afternoon in Kialla West, one person has passed away.

Around 12.55 p.m., a car and a truck are thought to have crashed head-on at the Goulburn Valley Highway and Moira Drive intersection.
Sadly, the one person in the car—the driver—died at the site and has not yet been officially recognised.

The truck driver received emergency medical care after suffering severe injuries.
Two patients were transported by ambulance to Goulburn Valley Health, according to a representative for Ambulance Victoria.
According to the spokesman, a guy in his 60s was transported to the hospital in a stable state for observation while a man in his 20s was sent to the hospital in a stable condition with upper body injuries.
While police investigated the collision, the highway was closed and traffic was diverted around the area via River Rd, Central Kialla Rd, and Murchison-Violet Town Rd.
Investigations are still being conducted to ascertain the specifics of the collision.

An incident on the Goulburn Valley Highway in Kialla West close to the Kialla Uniting Church is being attended by emergency personnel.
Following the event at at 12.55 p.m., two people were brought to Goulburn Valley Health.
It is uncertain how they are doing.
