The cause of the death is currently under investigation by the authorities.
According to the authorities, 57-year-old Ou Yang died of a heart attack, and the hotel room had no indication of a “intrusion,” according to CNA. According to the article, his relatives claimed he had a history of heart problems and had a cardiac stent.
According to CNA, Ou Yang visited the southern county of Pingtung on a business trip. He was appointed to the position at the beginning of the year to oversee various missile production projects.
Ou Yang Li-hsing oversee missile development projects
As the island increases its battle capabilities in response to what it perceives as China’s growing military threat, the military-owned organisation is trying to more than double its yearly missile production capacity to close to 500 this year.
The National Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology, which is owned by the military, recently hired Li-hsing to supervise a number of missile research projects.
To enhance its combat power in response to what the island sees as a growing military threat from China, the military-owned corporation is seeking to treble its yearly missile manufacturing capacity to close to 500 this year.
You may recall that only a few hours after Pelosi departed the island, China had intervened to demonstrate its military might.
In response to the “provocation” by the USA, the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) launched ballistic missiles and stationed fighter jets all around Taiwan on Thursday.

The US government called China’s military exercises a “overreaction”
On smaller islands close to Taiwan, in the Taiwan Strait, and even on land only 20 kilometres from Taiwan, the drills were carried out.
The US government called China’s military exercises a “overreaction” in retaliation against them.
China’s military exercises directed at Taiwan, according to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, are a “major escalation.”
Blinken had previously told Reuters that China has “chosen to overreact and use Pelosi’s visit as a pretext to increase aggressive military activity in and around the Taiwan Strait.”
Following Pelosi’s visit, which triggered a diplomatic spat between the two nations, China on Wednesday also placed penalties on the import of fruits and fish from Taiwan and blocked sand deliveries to the island.
Notably, it’s the first trip to Taiwan by a US elected official in the previous 25 years.
Additionally, China might stop sending natural sand to Taiwan.
