Nicole Hazen, the wife of Arizona Diamondbacks general manager Mike Hazen, passed away on Thursday as a result of complications from her battle with the malignancy glioblastoma.
How Did Nicole Hazen Die?
The 45-year-old wife of General Manager Mike Hazen, Nicole Hazen, passed away on Thursday morning, leaving the Arizona Diamondbacks organisation in sadness.
According to a press release, she apparently passed away from glioblastoma, a rare form of cancer, linked complications.
The Hazen family expressed through the team that “Nicole lived her life and loved her family with fierceness and dedication.” As a mother, wife, and educator who promoted goodness, she devoted every day to serving others. Our family wants to express its sincere gratitude to everyone who has shown us love, support, and spontaneous acts of kindness over the past two years and four months.

“Without the assistance and compassion of our community, we would not have been able to travel down this journey with her. She lost her ability to speak, walk, talk, and lead as a result of glioblastoma, but she never lost her ability to love her children, family, or friends. Although we are lost without her, we shall carry the torch of her unwavering compassion for everyone going forward.
Nicole’s vivacity, generosity, and a radiant grin that could light up a room will be remembered. Every stage of her courageous struggle and her efforts to influence research and therapy while giving people who receive a similar illness future hope were characterised by her fierce determination. She will always be respected and remembered.
Cause of Death of Nicole Hazen
In order to relieve himself of many of his job’s duties, Mike Hazen announced a leave of absence in June 2021. Since the previous May, Nicole Hazen, he claimed, had been battling glioblastoma.
In a joint statement, managing general partner Ken Kendrick and CEO and president Derrick Hall noted that Nicole was a cherished member of the D-backs’ family and that their team was heartbroken by her departure. “Mike, Charlie, John, Teddy, Sam, and their entire extended family are in our thoughts and prayers.
