Redfern would be “greatly missed” by his entire family, including his grieving wife, Carol, he said in a tribute to his father in The Mirror.

Speaking specifically about the Oxo advertisements, he said that he had become “a greatly liked person in one of Britain’s favourite television families” because to the part.
Redfern, who was born in Isleworth in 1943, spent his entire career acting on stage and in television plays.
Redfern had a strong and varied career as an actor, appearing in shows like Crossroads, George & Mildren, The Young Ones, and Doctors.

After a battle with cancer, Bellingham, who later went on to become a regular panellist on Loose Women, passed away in 2014 at the age of 66.

Michael starred in several vintage comedies, such as Porridge and The Two Ronnies, in addition to his involvement in the Oxo commercials.

After the Oxo commercials’ success, he then worked as a cab driver before relocating to Spain.
Due to his sudden celebrity as the face of Oxo, he made the decision to maintain a low profile, stating that it caused his work to “dry up over the years” despite the fact that it was a “really joyful profession.”

Lynda passed away on October 19 2016 with her husband by her side.
In the advertisements, the actor co-starred with Lynda Bellingham, who portrayed Michael’s wife and the Oxo mother.
While working with Lynda, he once remarked, “I was a face, but she was a name, and a very brilliant actress.”

After ceasing her treatment in August of that same year, she revealed in September of that same year that she only had months to live.
