Police officer and Ironman triathlete Brian Kozera passed suddenly recently at the age of 44. Over the weekend, a sad bicycle accident claimed the life of a Norristown Police Department veteran of 16 years.
He collided with an automobile while bicycling in Caernarvon Township, Pennsylvania, on August 14. According to TMZ, Brian ran a stop sign and collided with the pickup’s passenger side.

He served as a police officer for 16 years and taught Use of Drive at the Norristown Police Division. He was riding his bike on Saturday morning when he ran a stop sign, according to Yahoo Finance. Then he struck the passenger signal of a pickup truck.
The accident threw him off his bike and into the wheel of the vehicle. Kozera was still breathing when he was delivered to the Studying Hospital. The person’s accidents were so severe, despite wearing a helmet, that the hospital ruled him dead.
