Chen Man Hin Cause of death
On August 17, 2022, Chen Man Hin passed away at his residence in Seremban, Malaysia. Age-wise, he was 97. His passing was announced on Facebook, Everyone on the entire planet is demoralized by the passing of DAP Founding Member DR Chen Man Hin. He served as DAP’s first Life Advisor since December 1999 and the organization’s founding National Chairman from March 1966 to December 1999.

Who was Chen Man Hin?
Chen Man Hin was a Malaysian politician who served as Member of Parliament (MP) for Seremban from September 1974 to April 1982 and again from November 1983 to October 1990, Seremban Timor from May 1969 to September 1974, and Rahang from December 1965 to April 1982.
He was a founding member of the Democratic Action Party (DAP), which is now a component party of the opposition coalitions Pakatan Harapan (PH), formerly Pakatan Rakyat (PR), Barisan Alternatif (BA), and Gagasan Rakyat (GR).
The early life of Chen Man Hin
Chen Man Hin, a Hakka Chinese, was born in China and sailed to Malaya at a young age, before the Second World War.
He enrolled in King Edward VII Medical College in Singapore in 1946 and graduated in 1952. He then worked as a doctor in Singapore and Seremban Hospital until 1956, when he opened his own clinic.
Chen Man Hin’s political career
He won his most memorable government parliamentary seat, Selemban Timor in Negeri Sembilan, on the DAP ticket against the Barisan Nasional in 1969. Following the death of a Malaysian-Chinese parliamentarian in Lahang, Negeri Sembilan, Cheng Man Hing ran for office as a free on December 9, 1965, and won.
The DAP was in development at the time, and he was officially enrolled on March 18, after which he became National President. Then, in 1978 and 1986, he won the decisions, and in 1986, he won the DAP, where he won 24 seats and 56 state seats.
