Joe Soares, real name Jose Eugenio Soares, was born in Rio de Janeiro on January 17, 1938. As a playwright and actor, he had his film and television debut in the late 1950s, notably at the Grand TV Tupi theatre. About ten years later, he made his TV Globo debut with the show “Faça Humor No Fazer Guerra,” for which he was both an actor and an author.
