Annica Milán revealed the reason of death for Kimmo Blom, saying, “That’s accurate. He passed away due to cancer. The musician was diagnosed with a rare form of conjunctival melanoma in 2015, and he battled it until his death.
“Three months later, I underwent follow-up testing, radiotherapy, and surgery. “It has been told that the man is clean, he will feel wonderful, and after three months there will be another checkup and cancer will be found again,” Blom stated in the Uncensored Päivärinna in 2019.
According to a touching message about the shocking news that was shared on Blom’s personal Facebook page, Kimmo dozed off.

Kimmo Blom career
With the song “America (I Think I Love You),” Kimmo and his band Boys of the Band attempted to represent Finland at the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest, but they were unsuccessful in reaching the final. Five years later, performing under the alias Angelo De Nile, he placed fifth with the song “All For Victory” in Uuden Musiikin Kilpailu 2015, Finland’s national final for the 2015 Eurovision Song Contest.
He tried his luck once more to represent Finland at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016 with the song “Good Enough,” which again placed fifth, a year later, this time this time with Annica Milán.
