Simon Goold, 51, of Manchester Road, Ashton, has been charged with her slaying, rape, and further assaults.
Elizabeth’s family paid tribute to her and that she would be “deeply missed” because she “loved to help everyone.”

“She loved going for walks at places like Hartshead Pike, Dove Stone, and along the canals,” they continued.

According to the Greater Manchester Police (GMP), Ms. McCann was discovered dead on Thursday at a residence in Ashton-under-Manchester Lyne’s Road.

Charges of murder, rape, and assault by penetration have been brought against Simon Goold, 51, of Manchester Road, Ashton.

He was remanded in custody after making an appearance at Manchester Magistrates Court on Saturday.
Ms. McCann’s family claimed she was “happy and bubbly” and “liked to serve everyone” in a statement distributed through GMP.

The 26-year-old was reported to “liked to go on walks,” particularly to Blackpool around Halloween to check out the decorations and costumes.

Elizabeth was stolen before the world “knew the love Elizabeth gave,” according to her relatives, who also claimed that she “had the greatest heart” and “the warmest smile.”
