A couple was arrested in Ohio after reportedly having sex on the Ferris wheel at Cedar Point amusement park. Officers detained David Davis of Florida and Heather Johnston, both 32 when a group of passengers on a cart close below them reported their alleged behavior.
According to local NBC affiliate WKYC, quoting the Sandusky Police Department, the group of four, consisting of two ladies and two kids under the age of 18, observed Davis and Johnston engaged in sex activities soon after dark on Sunday. They also claimed that their cart was trembling while the suspected pair was above them.

According to a police complaint, the pair, both 32 years old, were witnessed having intercourse in one of the vehicles on the Cedar Point amusement park’s Giant Wheel ride. Other parkgoers on the ride, including two adolescents, reported the event to the attraction’s operators, claiming they observed the pair nude and their cart rocking back and forth. According to the police report, “the group indicated that the pair realized they were observing and started laughing and continued their conduct.”

According to the Akron Beach Journal, the pair originally denied having sex on the 145-foot-high ride. The 32-year-old lady said that she lost a pack of smokes from the shorts she was wearing beneath her dress and that her partner assisted her in retrieving them.
According to police, the pair eventually acknowledged to having sex on the journey. The pair was detained and charged with indecent exposure.

Witnesses informed authorities that Davis, of Florida, and Johnston, of Ohio, laughed off spectators who stared in awe as their purported sex act was clearly visible.
Two ladies and two children, both under the age of 18, who were on the Ferris wheelchair behind the noisy duo, stated they observed everything and called authorities about the X-rated trip. According to WKYC, the pair originally denied having sex on the journey, claiming Johnston had only leaned over to pick up a pack of smokes that had fallen.
Charged with a first-degree crime
After finding that two of the bystanders were teenagers, they admitted to knocking on boots and were brought into Erie County Jail. Davis and Johnston are facing more serious charges because they were observed performing a whoopie by two minors. Both were charged with first-degree crimes, which means they may spend up to 180 days in jail.
According to the local publication, the couple will be arraigned in Sandusky Municipal Court on Monday morning.

Two youngsters in the cart beneath the couple on the Ferris wheel were among the witnesses. According to the police report, witnesses said they could “feel the cart shaking” and witnessed the guy and lady expose themselves on the trip.
The claim of the couple
Initially, the pair rejected any allegations. According to the police report, Johnston informed detectives that she was wearing shorts beneath her dress when she dropped her cigarette pack, and when she leaned down to pick them up, Davis assisted her.
The pair then acknowledged engaging in sexual intercourse. Davis and Johnston were both arrested and sent to the Erie County Jail, where they were charged with a first-degree misdemeanor.
At first, the pair denied having sex. According to the woman, she dropped her cigarette pack and leaned over to pick it up. She was wearing shorts underneath her dress, and her companion assisted her in picking up the pack.

However, witnesses said that the pair was nude and having sexual relations inside the Giant Wheel’s carriage. “The group indicated that the pair realized they were being watched and began laughing and continued their behavior,” according to the police report.
