I want to congratulate the neighbor, whose fast thinking and altruistic acts likely saved the life of this young boy who has sustained injuries that will change his life.
We’re still looking into the incident’s complete circumstances, but in the meanwhile, we’ve taken the dog away to protect the neighborhood and identify its breed.
We are eager to speak with any witnesses who may have witnessed the incident or this dog previously. We have a designated sergeant who evaluates all instances involving dangerous pets.
“I want to emphasize that dog owners should always be aware of their pets’ behavior, especially when young children may be present. Additionally, owners who take their dogs into public areas should put them on a leash and muzzle them if they have a potentially dangerous dog.
