An inquest heard that a motorbike rider Thomas Griggs died in a “head-on collision” after his bike struck Love Island singer Kem Cetinay’s vehicle.

An inquest was told today that a motorcycle rider died after suffering severe injuries in a “head-on collision” with Love Island star Kem Cetinay’s car in Essex earlier this month.
Thomas Griggs, a young parent, was involved in a collision with a Mercedes driven by Kem Cetinay, 26, the reality TV show’s 2017 champion, and sustained various injuries and blunt force trauma.
Senior coroner Graeme Irvine launched the inquest into the death of the 28-year-old on Friday at the East London Coroner’s Court.
Mr. Irvine claimed that the other vehicle’s driver’s identity had not been disclosed to the court and that a suspect had been found during the police inquiry into the event.
According to testimony given in court, Mr. Griggs passed away at 12:04 p.m. on August 4—the same day the crash is reported to have occurred at 11:27 a.m.
Multiple wounds and a blunt force trauma were determined to be the cause of death during a post-mortem examination.
Investigation into the death of Thomas Griggs
“This is contemplating an investigation into the death of Thomas Griggs, a man of 28 who died on August 4, 2022 at a site described as outside Ivy Lodge Farm in Shepherds Hill in Romford,” senior coroner Graeme Irvine said in court.
“Four minutes after noon is the recorded time of death presented to the court.”
“This is a recommendation the Metropolitan Police Service brought to the court and pertains to circumstances of a road traffic collision that is believed to have occurred at 11.27am on the same day as Mr. Griggs’ death,” the referral reads.
A semi-residential route with one lane running in each direction and a 30 mph speed limit is where the accident happened at Ivy Lodge Farm in Shepherds Hill, the court heard.
According to reports, the motorbike was travelling in the other direction from the motor vehicle, which was a car, Mr. Irvine stated.
It is alleged that the two automobiles collided head-on. The Metropolitan Police are still looking into the situation.
I believe that person should be included as an interested party in this inquest since it appears that a suspect has been identified by police in connection with this inquiry.
Despite the efforts of the paramedics, Mr. Griggs passed away soon after the accident.
Mr Cetinay breath test
Mr. Cetinay’s G-Wagon was smashed up behind a police station, and the damaged motorcycle was laying on the pavement, according to photos from the site.
According to MailOnline, Mr. Cetinay stopped at the scene and gave officers a complete account before passing a breathalyser test.
According to his agency, Mr. Cetinay was not hurt and was helping the authorities with the investigation into the collision.
The reality star posted on social media yesterday, writing, “Gym sesh with my little pal,” while grinning next to a little youngster.

The reality TV star was seen working out while sporting a black Puma T-shirt and pushing his hair out of his face.
Following the fatal collision, which took place more than 700 metres from Kem’s restaurant, Array, which he established in July, the reality TV star was alleged to be “traumatised” and “shaken up.”

Metropolitan Police spokesman statement about Kem Cetinay crash
According to a Metropolitan Police spokesman, police were called to Shepherds Hill in Romford at 11:32 on Thursday, August 4th.
The London Ambulance Service (LAS) and police were there. A car and a motorcycle had collided at the spot.
The male biker was tragically pronounced dead at the scene at 12:04 despite the efforts of the medical staff, according to the statement. Inquiries are being made to alert the next of kin.

Who is Kem Cetinay?

Tribute to Biker Thomas Griggs death
Friends and family have shared tributes to Tommy on social media in before of the inquest. He left a young daughter behind who just turned one.
The mother of Tommy’s child took the lead in the heartfelt tributes by posting images of the family on Facebook along with a beautiful remembrance.
The caption read, “The last four years haven’t been the easiest, but you gave me the nicest present anyone could ever have given me.
She loves you so much, Tommy, and I’m going to make sure she makes you proud by telling her about you every day.
