Ozuna was also arrested last year and charged with felony assault

Ozuna was charged with attacking and strangling his divorced wife in his Sandy Springs home in May 2021. According to court records, she told officers that she and her husband had gotten into a fight about adultery before he choked her and pushed her against a wall.

The felony charge of aggravated assault by strangulation that led to his initial arrest was dismissed by the prosecution in July. Ozuna was still facing simple assault, battery, and domestic violence misdemeanour charges.

A family violence intervention programme was one of a number of requirements that Ozuna was required to accomplish under the terms of the agreement within six months.
