Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix and Lois Toulson of the United Kingdom won their second diving gold medal in the women’s synchronized 10m platform category at the European Aquatics Championships 2022.
For the first time, the British duo divers won the title by scoring 72.96 in the final attempt and finishing first on the podium with a total score of 303.60 points.
Ukraine’s duo wins the silver medal, finishing second on the podium with a score of 298.86 points, while Germany’s duo wins the bronze medal.

Spendolini-Sirieix maintained her consistency alongside Toulson to deliver a total of 303.60 points, with their final dive score of 72.96 proving crucial.
The British duo finished ahead of Ukraine (298.86) and Germany (289.86).
“I’m thrilled to be able to finish the season with Lois by my side,” Spendolini-Sirieix told BBC Sport. “It was a fantastic final dive, and I am ready for summer.”
“We were extremely fortunate that this was our first time together. We had done those dives exactly once before the competition.
“The fact that it went so well proves to us that we’re pretty good.”

Houlden was fourth after round two of the men’s 3m springboard before a stellar third-round performance propelled him to the top of the standings.
With an 84.00, that dive, a reverse three-and-a-half somersaults in tuck, tied for first place in the competition.
It caps off a breakout season for Houlden, who also won two medals at the Commonwealth Games.
“It’s completely mind-blowing. This is probably the best year I’ve had so far, and I hope it continues “He stated to BBC Sport.
“Now that the season is over, I’ll be able to rest and take some time off.”
Meanwhile, Laugher led after two rounds but fell behind with a third-round score of 49.30.
He improved his score on dive four to 79.20, but it wasn’t enough as more errors crept into his performance.
On Sunday, the 27-year-old will compete in the men’s synchronized 3m springboard with Anthony Harding.

Houlden, 24, took silver with a total of 428.55 points, falling 25.30 points short of newly crowned champion Lorenzo Marsaglia.
