A phone call allegedly seeking Rs 20 crore in ransom for the boy’s release was made to the boy’s father.
Two people accused of the crime were located by the police after a search. The youngster and his family share a housing complex with the two. They admitted to taking the infant and killing him when being questioned by police.
What happened exactly with the 7 year old Pune boy?
A seven-year-old kid from Pimpri-Chinchwad in Pune was found dead on Friday night, about 29 hours after he was reported missing, according to the police.
The youngster was named by the police as Aditya Gajanan Ogale, a resident of Pimpri-Udyam Chinchwad’s Nagar, Masulkar Colony, and who was last seen playing near his home on Thursday night.
His family filed a missing person report at the Pimpri police station after he failed to get home. His builder father Gajanan allegedly received a phone call demanding Rs 20 crore in ransom as soon as word of his absence became widespread on social media.
Police arrested the suspect connection with the pune boy murder
After stepping up their investigation, the police were able to apprehend a suspect from Pimpri-Chinchwad.
Aditya’s body was found on the grounds of a business in MIDC Bhosari on Friday night, and the police claimed they are looking into several possibilities to determine what led to the murder.
Police filed FIR in against of suspect
In connection with the kid’s disappearance, a FIR has been lodged at the Pimpri Police Station under Section 302 (murder).
The Pimpri Chinchwad Police crime branch squad has detained the two suspects in the case and is continuing its investigation. Later, more details will be given. Gajanan, a builder and the father of Aditya, reportedly got a call demanding Rs 20 crore as ransom for his son’s release.

Aditya Ogale is from Pimpri-Chinchwad, and the news of his disappearance spread quickly through WhatsApp groups and social media. Since he vanished from his society while playing on Thursday evening, Aditya’s missing poster has been shared on social media platforms throughout the city for the past 30 hours.
The body of the 7-year-old has now been discovered. The body of the child, whose remains were found on a company’s property in MIDC Bhosari on Friday night, has been reported as having been kidnapped and killed by Pimpri Chinchwad Police.
